Okay, so I kind of fell of the face of the earth for the past few months. What happened? I turned 23. No biggie. Birthday was fun. Lost my two regular commissioners because they have lack of funds for the forseeable future due to loss of disposable income-making jobs. Soooo, that's not good. Wigs are going fine. No new orders, but I'm nearly done with the first batch. (11 character wigs in just a few months. Pretty good for a first time thing!) Our Soi Fong dropped out, so I may be putting the Soi Fong wig on sale if she doesn't want the wig anymore. It's a lovely peice of work, if I do say so myself. When my digicam stops being a bastard

Okay, since the gorgeous kimono I wanted was bought, I've been seriously thinking about making my own...The right way...From scratch. I thought and thought and thought, and did a hellish amount of research, and came to a decision. If I'm going to hand-paint and construct an accurate kimono for myself, I might as well get good hardware that I can reuse, and offer kimono making services along with the rest of my commissionables. The only downside to this is the cost. Profesissional materials are expensive. The only silk stretching frame I've found that can accomadate kimono-sized fabric (rather than just dinky scarves) is in the neighborhood
